Privacy policy
What this website collects, which is very little, and who to ask about it.

This policy covers the FrozenPepper website, www.frozenpepper.it. Our games, apps and the sites that have their own address on this domain, such as Greia and Synthasia, have their own privacy policies, shown in each product or on its own pages.
Who is responsible
FrozenPepper, Pisa, Italy, is the data controller for this website. For anything about your personal data, write to privacy@frozenpepper.it.
The short version
- No cookies.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
- No accounts, no forms: we only see what you choose to send us by email.
- Fonts and images are served from our own server, so your browser does not contact Google or any other company just by opening a page.
- YouTube is contacted only when a video plays (see below).
What is collected, and why
Server logs. Like every web server, ours records the requests it receives: your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, the address of the page you came from and your browser's user agent. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure, for example to stop attacks. It is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The logs are kept by our hosting provider, Aruba S.p.A. in Italy, which acts on our behalf, for a limited time, and are not used to profile anyone.
Emails you send us. If you write to us, we use your address and your message to reply and to follow up on your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep the conversation for as long as it is useful for that, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
Videos
Some project pages show YouTube videos. Until a video plays, the page shows a picture stored on our own server and YouTube is not contacted. When a video plays, it is loaded from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com): from then on, Google receives your IP address and browser details and may store data on your device, as described in Google's privacy policy.
Links to other sites
Store pages (App Store, Google Play, Steam, the Unity Asset Store) and our social media accounts are run by other companies, under their own privacy policies. Nothing is sent to them until you follow a link.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to privacy@frozenpepper.it and we will reply within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Changes
If what this website collects changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
