At the end of WW2, the two emerging superpowers, the USA and the USSR, get hold of secret alien technology that the Nazis had been researching. This triggers a deadly, secret race between them to acquire the mysterious new tech. Working around the clock in hidden locations, scientists on both sides reverse-engineer the recovered wrecks, and their efforts produce new plane designs and equipment to prevail over the enemy.
1948: Dawn of Future is a plane combat game built mainly around multiplayer battles. It is free to play: you earn credits by playing (or buy them in-app) and spend them to equip your plane with many different items, weapons and systems.
Building your plane
Each plane has unique characteristics that suit different combat situations, described by four main parameters: load (the maximum weight it can carry, and the main limit on what you can install), speed, handling and resistance. On top of that you choose engines (from propellers to jets), avionics, radar, a main cannon, homing missiles or rockets, and flares to throw incoming missiles off course.
