Radar Commander

Released · Radar defence action and strategy game

Radar Commander

Take control of the airspace: manage your weapons and protect your radar site from waves of enemies.

What's underneath Radar Commander: Weapons: CIWS, long-range missiles and artillery. Mode: Survival, with global leaderboards. Supplies: Fighter support, repair kits, upgrades, nuclear shells. Gameplay: Easy to learn, hard to master.

From your radar station you decide when, where and what to fire at, while waves of enemies close in on your site. Radar Commander aims to be immersive yet easy to pick up, with fast action and strategic gameplay that is easy to learn but hard to master. A highly polished interface and a very detailed soundscape pull you in, and in survival mode you compete with other commanders on the global leaderboards.

Your weapons

You control three main weapons:

  • CIWS (red shape): a highly effective close-range automatic defence system. Simply orient it, and it shoots down enemies and missiles on its own.
  • Missiles (blue shape): lock up to 3 targets at the same time and engage them with advanced long-range missiles.
  • Artillery (yellow shape): double tap to fire high-powered shells that deal damage over a wide area.

Each weapon has a limited field of view, and it's up to you to orient them for the best effect.

Supplies

Supply planes drop strategically important power-ups: manage them and use them when it matters. Among the supplies you can receive are friendly fighter support, repair kits, weapon improvements and even nuclear shells that clear out great portions of the sky.

On PC and Mac?

We also put Radar Commander on Steam Greenlight, asking players to vote to help us bring it to the much bigger screens of PCs and Macs.
