RC Heli 3

RC Heli 3 came out of 18 months of intense work on the third generation of our RC products. It brought a new physics engine, a new scenario streaming system and a FrozenPepper account to keep your progress with you.

Realistic physics

Engines, servos and propellers are simulated separately, so every vehicle flies as the sum of independent components: engines, propellers, batteries, electronic stabiliser and so on. Forces are applied in the right spots and weights are balanced, so each vehicle behaves very much like the real one. The stabiliser is coded exactly like those in real RC helicopters, drones and planes, and part of its code comes from an Arduino project for a cardboard RC plane.

The four difficulty modes, from Beginner to Pro, work by giving more or less strength to the electronic stabilisation and inertia cancellation. You can enjoy relaxed, stable flight, fast arcade-style races or a very realistic, sensitive simulation, and even in Beginner mode you are still flying a realistic simulation.

A huge house to explore

Explore a huge house and its garden, unlocking new areas as you progress through the race modes. Our streaming system fills every room with high-quality textures and models, and scales the detail up or down to suit each device.
